With over 20 years of experience in the property industry, I have built my career around strategic investment, long-term asset growth, and delivering exceptional property management services. My journey began in my early twenties when I purchased my first property at auction — a defining moment that laid the foundations for what has become a lifelong commitment to real estate.

Over the past two decades, I have acquired, managed, and refined a diverse portfolio of residential and commercial properties. This hands-on experience as an active investor gives me direct insight into the priorities, pressures, and performance expectations of modern landlords. I understand the importance of protecting capital value, maximising rental returns, and maintaining full compliance within South Africa's evolving lettings legislation.

Having navigated multiple market cycles, regulatory changes, and shifting economic conditions, I bring both commercial pragmatism and long-term strategic thinking to every client relationship. The residual income created through disciplined property investment has provided financial independence — but more importantly, it has reinforced my belief that well-managed property remains one of the most powerful wealth-building tools available.

As Founder and Director of Pure Property Management, I lead the company with a clear vision: to deliver a premium, transparent, and compliance-led letting service for landlords across Cape Town and the surrounding areas. I joined Pure Property Management SA (Pty) Ltd in March 2019 and currently serve as Principal Property Practitioner and Director. I oversee the professional management of residential rental properties, ensuring landlords and tenants receive reliable, structured support throughout the rental process. My approach is built on clear communication, strong organisation, and consistent service, helping to protect landlords’ investments while creating positive rental experiences for tenants.

My background includes extensive experience in property rentals, financial administration, and business operations. I previously served as Director and Principal of A Letting Property Management (Pty) Ltd and as Rental Manager at ASLO Holdings (Pty) Ltd, where I developed strong expertise in lease administration, client relationships, and maintenance coordination. Working closely with contractors and service providers, I ensured properties were well maintained and managed efficiently.

I hold a BA Honours degree in Sport Science and a BA in Human Movement Science from the University of the Free State, along with NQF5 and ISO 9001 quality management training. At Pure Property Management, I oversee operational systems, compliance, and the day-to-day framework that supports our team. My focus is on delivering a transparent, professional property management service with attention to detail and high service standards.

I began my career in administration, banking, and client services before moving into the property industry, where I discovered a genuine passion for working with both people and property. Starting from the ground up, I gained experience in property sales and rentals, building a career that now spans more than two decades in sales and many years in residential rental management. This experience allows me to understand what matters most to landlords — protecting their investment, maintaining property condition, and ensuring reliable tenants.

At Pure Property Management, I support the day-to-day management of rental properties, working closely with landlords and tenants to ensure tenancies run smoothly. My focus is on proactive communication, careful organisation, and prompt resolution of maintenance and tenancy matters. I believe consistent updates and clear guidance provide landlords with reassurance that their property is being professionally managed and well cared for at all times.

I remain committed to ongoing professional development and regularly attend industry training and legislative update courses. Staying informed allows me to support landlords with confidence, ensure compliance with current letting regulations, and deliver a reliable, professional property management service. Maintenance Manager – Pure Property Management

As Maintenance Manager at Pure Property Management, I bring hands-on experience from working in property management at an established estate agency in Durbanville, where I managed a residential complex and coordinated all maintenance requirements. This role strengthened my client service approach and developed strong maintenance coordination skills, ensuring properties are well cared for and issues are resolved quickly.

At Pure Property Management, I oversee property maintenance across our portfolio, ensuring all work is completed efficiently, cost-effectively, and within appropriate timeframes. I also carry out routine property inspections and support the wider property management team by coordinating repairs, liaising with landlords and tenants, and accurately processing maintenance quotes and invoices through the RedRabbit system. My focus is on maintaining high standards while delivering a responsive and professional service.
